PA National Fire Museum Tour

On January 26, 2010, Crew 13 took a trip to the Pennsylvania National Fire Museum in Harrisburg.  The purpose of the trip was to learn more about the history of firefighting and to see the evolution of many of the tools that we use today.  The trip also helped them to get an understanding of fire safety and the role that the Fire Department plays in the community.  Our tour that evening was led by Chief 212, Dave Warren.  Dave is the president of the PA National Fire Museum and he had numerous stories about the exhibits within the museum and was able to give the crew valuable insight.

Thank you to everyone at the museum for making this trip possible.
